JUVENILE TEAK
Tectona grandis
We've developed alternative used for millions of board feet of "thinnings" from teak plantation co-ops in Central America. Some of the material is cut and dried to mill specs for interior and exterior furniture production, cabinetry and millwork.
Color variations are green to yellow and black. Thinnings are ideal for agricultural uses, decks, trellises and latticework; for vigas and lattias in Southwest-style architecture; in locations where rot-resistance is paramount. Our thinnings have also been used for home building in the plantation community to enhance cultural development.
